MyTasker ("we", "us", or "our") is a personal task management application available at app.mytaskerapp.com. This Privacy Policy explains what data we collect, how we use it, and your rights regarding that data.

Information We Collect

We collect only what is necessary to provide the service:

• Account information: Your email address and password (stored securely via Firebase Authentication).
• Task data: Tasks, subtasks, categories, deadlines, and reminders you create within the app.
• Gmail data (optional): If you choose to connect a Gmail account, we request read-only access to your inbox. We access email subject lines, sender addresses, and message snippets solely to display them in the app and allow you to convert them into tasks. We do not store the full content of your emails.

How We Use Your Data

• To operate and provide the MyTasker service.
• To display your Gmail inbox within the app at your request.
• To send push notification reminders for tasks you have scheduled.
• We do not sell, share, or transfer your data to third parties for advertising or any other purpose.

Gmail API Disclosure

MyTasker's use of information received from Google APIs adheres to the Google API Services User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements. Gmail data is used only to display your inbox and enable email-to-task conversion within the app. It is never used for advertising, profiling, or shared with any third party.

Data Storage

All data is stored on Google Cloud infrastructure (Firebase / Firestore) within the same Google Cloud project. Data is protected by Firebase security rules that restrict access to your account only.

Data Retention & Deletion

• Your task data is retained as long as your account is active.
• If you disconnect a Gmail account, the associated OAuth tokens are deleted immediately.
• To request full account deletion, contact us at the email below and we will remove all your data within 30 days.

Cookies & Tracking

We use a session cookie solely to keep you signed in. We do not use any third-party analytics, advertising cookies, or tracking scripts.

Children's Privacy

MyTasker is not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect data from children under 13.

Changes to This Policy

We may update this policy from time to time. The "Last updated" date at the top of this page will reflect any changes.
